Pros Of Learning Blackjack Strategies

Many people play blackjack, but they don’t really call it that way, and they only play it for fun, without worrying about winning, losing or putting any thought into the skills involved in the game, since it is “only” a game.

However, there are some people who play blackjack in casinos, and they do worry about winning, since their money is on the line. So they can learn the lesson the easy way or the hard way: losing all their money or realizing they need some techniques before they go to a casino. Then they know that they have to learn more, instead of relying only on their luck.

If you’re new to gambling, you might question why blackjack strategies are so important. The concept of the game is straightforward: beat the dealer’s point total without going over 21. Sounds simple, but if it was that easy you can guarantee that it wouldn’t be a casino game. There are some things that you can do though to improve your chances of coming out with a positive result.

Of course it’s a game played with cards, but take a deeper look into the mechanics of the game and you’ll find it’s fundamentally a mathematical challenge. There is an element of chance to the fall of the cards but at the same time there is a limited number of cards that can be dealt. If you play your cards right you can gain an advantage over the house.

When I first started researching these strategies there was little published information available. Like any other topic now, there are numerous websites outlining blackjack strategies so I am able to keep abreast of the very latest trends in the game. The internet has not only changed the amount of information available on the game, it has also transformed how the game is played. Today you don’t even need to leave home to indulge in the blackjack experience. This game along with many others is playable online.

Just as playing the game differs from home to being in a casino, the strategies that you would employ when playing these games will be different. It may seem like the same game but you’ll need to make slightly different decision on certain card combinations. If you intend on playing online ensure that the strategies you research and use relate to that mode of play.

As with any form of gambling, there can be no guarantee that you will be a winner. There is a very real chance you could lose. The aim of understanding the strategy behind the game is to allow you to make informed decisions that will increase you odds of success. Proven strategies can make a difference.

How To Play Blackjack

Blackjack or 21 as some people call the game is definitely the most popular of casino table games. The primary object of this particular game is to beat the dealer, but like all casino games the odds are with the house. The game is played with anywhere from one to eight decks of cards. In some cases the dealer holds the deck but usually it doesn’t have more than two card decks. With up to eight decks of cards a shoe is used to deal the game from. Some of the casinos are now looking at a new technology that continuously shuffles the cards a well as holds the cards and deals them.

While blackjack might not seem like it is a very complicated game it is in fact complicated. The game of blackjack is all about the odds of obtaining the right cards to beat the dealer. If the dealer deals your cards by hand then your cards are dealt to you face down. If the cards are dealt out of shoes or trays then the cards are dealt to you face up and you may not handle your cards. However the hands are being dealt the play of the game is basically the same, which is beat the dealer.

As I said the object of the game is to beat the dealer and the way you do that is either by holding a hand closer to 21 than the dealer or drawing a blackjack which is an ace and either a king, queen, jack, or 10 of any suit. If you go over 21 then you have busted your hand and the same is true of the dealer also, but the dealer must stop hitting at 17 or when their hit goes over. You however are not restricted to playing until you hit or go over 17 with a hit you may hit as often as you choose until you go bust, but you don’t want to go bust.

The suits of the cards do not have any effect on the game of blackjack. The card values are not complicated either, because all card from the 2 to the 10 are counted by their face value. The face cards jack, queen, and king are worth 10, while the ace is worth both 11 and 1. The ace will also determine whether you have a soft hand. For example an ace and a 2 are either a soft 13 or are 3, and will you to decide whether to hit or stand.

A review on my friends 2 – 3 year old Samusng Black Jack or SGH-i607 Smart Phone/PDA. The phone seems pretty decent and is preloaded with Windows Mobile 5.0 but now it has been loaded with Windows Mobile 6.0. The phone is now in a pretty bad condition with scratches everywhere and dings and other damages. Mainly if you were to get the phone brand new you would get manuals and cd’s, charger, battery, and the phone itself. Mainly that is what I have to say. Thanks for watching!

Why Play Blackjack Online

Why Play Blackjack Online

The main advantage of playing blackjack online is that you can learn the best strategies through trial and error, unlike in brick-and-mortar casinos, where mistakes can be costly. Many virtual casinos have a play for fun function where you can play with free tokens. Use this function mercilessly when you are still learning various blackjack strategies.

Other advantages include a bonus when you first sign up at the site, being able to play in the relaxed atmosphere of your own without having to endure the tense atmosphere of a real casino, and the low buy-in.

But when you play blackjack at an online casino, there are also a few things you should keep in mind. You should always know the rules under which the game is played. Just like in an online casino, there are variations you should be aware of, since each of these has its own winning strategy. For example, some Internet casinos require the dealer to stand on a hard 17 while others say the dealer needs to draw another card.

Online casinos also have different policies regarding doubling; while some disallow it entirely, others allow doubling but only if your hand is of a certain value. Many Internet gaming sites also do not allow surrendering.

Fortunately, many of these gaming sites also allow you to select the style that you feel most comfortable with, so you don’t have to abandon your favorite strategy. Before you start playing on any Internet gambling site, make sure you always understand all its rules.

Debunking Some Common Blackjack Myths

Debunking Some Common Blackjack Myths

There are many myths in blackjack that you should disabuse yourself of if you want to win at the game. One of the most basic is this: the objective of the game is to reach 21 or as close to it as possible. Wrong! The objective is to beat the dealer, either by getting a higher hand than he has or by not busting when he busts.

Another myth is that you have to be good at math to be successful at blackjack. This is another mistaken belief. While math geniuses generally do better at the game, there are many basic strategies you can use to improve the odds of you winning; all you have to do is familiarize yourself with them.

It is also a mistake to assume that all blackjack games have the same house advantage. In fact, the rules under which the game operates make a huge difference; for example, if the casino has a soft 17 rule (in which the dealer has to take another card if his hand contains an ace counted as an 11), it gives the house a slight advantage of 0.2%; while this may not seem like much, over the long-term it could substantially swing the odds further in favor of the house.

Finally, the worst myth that gamblers can subscribe to is that if the dealer has experienced a winning streak, the tide will eventually turn in the player’s favor. While this may be true if you play long enough, a few hours of play is not enough to eventually turn the odds your way.

How To Win At Blackjack

When you play in an online casino, one of the most popular games is the blackjack game. In fact, is the most widely played casino banking game in the world so much so that you will never run out of competition and excitement at this game. However, you just don’t play the game because you will be losing more than you expected without these tips on how to win at blackjack.

Learn Basic Strategy

Blackjack is a game of mathematics. Gut instinct, hunches, guesses and superstitions have very little, if at all, place in this game that involves math skills, even card counting. Thus, you do have to learn and master the basic play and strategy and you don’t have to second-guess the math.

Know the Dealer Tells

You will need to understand the various dealer tells simply because these help in your game. These are subtle signals made by the dealer than can tell you whether to hit, stand, double down, split a pair or surrender, thereby increasing your chances of winning.

Of course, you have to remember that dealers can fake tells, too. But once you have understood the psychology of tells through constant practice and reading of books on the subject matter, you will discover that the best possible way on how to win at blackjack often boils down to combining your math skills with people-reading skills.

Know When to Make Your Move

When you have learned basic strategy, you will be able to know when to make your move depending on the cards. This is essential because the wrong move in the right strategy can and will make you lose!

You can follow these basic principles in making your moves:

* Hit when your two cards total a 9 or below; stand when it is a hard 17 or higher

* Hit when your total is 12 to 16 and the dealer’s upcard is 7 or higher; reversely, stand when the dealer’s upcard is a 6 or lesser

* Double down when your total is 10 or 11 and higher than the dealer’s upcard; similarly, double down when your total is a 10 and the dealer has a 7
Again, you have to leave your guesses ans superstitions outside the door, or in the case of an online gaming casino, by the shredder.

Avoid Insurance Except in Certain Circumstance

This is because insurance is always weighted in favor of the dealer. You will almost always lose on this one, thus, the name sucker bet. You should never ever be a sucker for anything, least of all in a game like blackjack. The certain circumstance being referred to is in card counting. However, this is beyond the scope of this article so you might be best looking for tips from Ken Uston.

Manage Your Bankroll Wisely

This is a no-brainer. Often, the tips on how to win at blackjack will include sage advice on managing your bankroll simply because you do not win when nothing is left except the shirt upon your back.

That being said, remember never to play over your bankroll and set limits on what you will lose and earn and stick to them. You will find that winning at blackjack can be a fun thing to do!

An Introduction To Online Casino Poker And Blackjack

Playing poker and blackjack give you some of the best odds of any sort of gambling. Even though you are to a certain extent reliant on the luck of the draw, these games let you increase your chances through skill and strategy.

Blackjack and poker both offer you better odds when you get a little practice under your belt and follow some basic strategies. When you gamble, you should play to win and playing strategically will increase your chances of coming out on top.

If poker is the game you want to play, you’ll have an easy time finding an online casino poker game which you’ll want to get in on. Texas Hold ‘em and Omaha Poker are the most popular varieties, but there are others to choose from as well.

The best online casinos allow you to chat with the other players and pick up some useful techniques, just as if you were all sitting around the same table. Blackjack games online differ from those in a brick and mortar casino; in a traditional casino, the cards are dealt by hand or using a “shoe”.

A shoe is a dealing system which uses several decks and stacks the odds in the house’s favor. Look for blackjack games which use just one or two decks to give yourself the best odds.

Things work differently in an online casino. Instead of being dealt from a deck or decks, the cards are generated by a program. Top online casinos will permit you to learn how the games are played through free play so you’ll be prepared to play wisely once you start betting real money on your games.

Blackjack is a pretty straightforward game. On each turn, you can choose to “stand” “hit” or “double”. When you call “hit”, you’ll be dealt one more card. When you declare “stand”, you stick with what you already have.

“Double”, or “double down” doubles your bet and allows for some additional options. This can be a good strategy, but is one which you’ll want to use only after you’re well versed in the basics. Blackjack is one of the most enjoyable online casino games, but you should learn the values of the cards and the rules before you put too much money on the line.

Playing poker is also an incredibly entertaining pastime. When you play online casino poker, you can learn from some of the best poker players around; many professional players play online regularly and even some of the World Champion players began their careers by playing in online casinos.

Playing online casino poker is fun and a great way to sharpen your skills, since you can play with and learn from some of the greatest Texas Hold ‘em and Omaha Poker players on the planet! The best online casinos offer a lot of extras: promotions of all kinds, signup bonuses and free tutorials and software to help you get started. Best of all, no one can see your face – so if your poker face could use some work, online casinos are a great place to get started.

Playing blackjack, poker or both games at an online casino provides you with many hours of entertainment. Online casinos offer you a lot of options; so you don’t have to choose just one card game. Get in on the action and you may even come away with some winnings to show for it.

The good: The Samsung Jack brings a fresh, updated look over its predecessor and includes a faster processor and better camera. Call quality is excellent, and the Windows Mobile smartphone offers 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth. The bad: The Jack uses Samsung’s proprietary ports, so you can’t use a standard USB cable or headset. The phone feels slippery. The bottom line: As the successor to the BlackJack series, the Samsung Jack brings a fresh look and some nice feature upgrades to make it one of AT&T’s more solid and affordable messaging smartphones. However, we tend to favor the Nokia E71x’s design.

Strategies For Playing Online Blackjack Using Six-Decks

Strategies For Playing Online Blackjack Using Six-Decks

Strategies for playing online blackjack are not very different from those developed for brick-and-mortar casinos. However, each type of gaming software has its own rules, and you have to learn what these rules in order to apply the correct strategy. The major software companies include: Playtech which offers a six-deck game where you are allowed to double your bet after splitting and with any two cards; Microgaming, which was the first software developer to create a fully-working online casino system, has European and Regular blackjack games; Boss Media, which offers both single-deck games and six-deck games; Realtime Gaming (RTG) offers games that use between 4 to 8 decks; and Cryptologic, which has an eight-deck game.

Although online casinos that offer single-deck blackjack games are becoming scarcer, you should play at these casinos if you can find them, since these games favor the player over the dealer. Since six-deck games seem to be the norm online, however, here are some strategy tips for this type of blackjack game:

· If you have a hard 18 or 17, you should always stand; if your hand is a hard 13 to 16, stand if the dealer’s face-up card is six or lower; if it is higher, then you should hit. On the other hand, if you have a hard seven, you should always hit.

· If you have a hard ten or eleven, you should always double if the rules allow it unless the dealer’s face-up card has a value of ten or higher; then you should hit.

· If your hand has an ace and the second card is six and below, always stand; if the second card is eight and above, then stand. But if you have two aces, always split.

Learning Blackjack Secrets

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes in the game of Blackjack? Wish you had the secret tips and advice that can increase your winnings? With years of experience, Brett for the first time shares with you little known facts, strategies and insights about the real world of casino Blackjack that can help make you a winning player and give you an advantage over any casino in the world. After reviewing Brett’s “Hot Hand Advantage”, you’ll be able to walk up to any casino’s Blackjack table armed with the insider’s knowledge and confidence that you can win consistently at the game of Blackjack.

After seeing the film “Rain Man” at the age of 10, Brett became fascinated with card counting. His father, a renowned and experienced Blackjack Pro player himself, meticulously taught him the basics, seeing a second generation prodigy in the making. Brett then sought out books by the father of card counting, Edward O. Thorpe, perfected the method and used what he had learned to create his own approach; a much more aggressive system of card counting called the “Hot Hand Advantage.” Brett quickly became a force on the Blackjack circuit. He won several tournaments with his card counting strategy, before being banned from many of the top tables in Atlantic City and Las Vegas.

As Brett explains in the black jack video DVD, one of the biggest advantages of being a female player is the fact that you are female. As one successful woman put it, “I can’t tell you how many times I was paid when I wasn’t supposed to be paid.” The key is be friendly—male dealers are famous for paying you at least once a round even when you are not supposed to be paid. Also, most of the pit bosses assume that the card counters are all men, so good female Blackjack players often fly under the radar when winning at a casino.
